Chief Meteorologist from Channel 2 to Present Changing Weather Patterns

Danielle Breezy has been the Chief Meteorologist at News 2 since 2016. She earned her degree in Atmospheric Science at Cornell University and has her CBM seal which is the highest seal she can earn. In 2021, she received the American Meteorological Society’s June Bacon-Bercey Broadcaster of the Year Award for her life-saving coverage of the March 2020 Tornado Outbreak. She was also named the top 40 under 40 in 2020 by the Nashville Business Journal. In her free time, she loves visiting schools and giving back to the community. You can also catch her from time to time filling in at the network on Good Morning America and World News Tonight! On a personal note, she is married to Joe Breezy who does the afternoon drive on Mix 92.9 and is also the Pop Culture Correspondent on Local on 2.

Soprema to present Resilient Solutions for Extreme Risks

Darren Perry, PE, RRC is Director of Technical Support for the SOPREMA USA Group.  Darren manages the “inside” technical support team providing support and services for sales representative, design professionals and contractor customers.  Darren manages the codes and approvals team to engage with “outside” laboratory testing and agency approvals aimed at enhancing SOPREMA products and private labeled products.  Darren also provides management and technical oversight for the warranty department.

Darren has 13 years of experience with the SOPREMA North American organization.  Prior to his current responsibilities, Darren was Vice President of REI Engineers for 10 years and worked for FM Global for 12 years.   He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, is a licensed professional engineer, fire protection engineer, and a registered roof consultant.
